After managing the technology accounts in the New York offices of two of the largest international PR firms, Alison left the big agency world in 1995 to found Technology PR as a full-service public relations and communications consultancy with a track record of promoting business-to-business and technology clients to market success with award-winning media and analyst relations programs that capture the interest of investors, customers, partners and industry influencers. A testimony to Alison's results and client performance, Technology PR hit the ground running with its first accounts outsourced to Alison by her former agency employers.
Since its founding, Alison has provided Technology PR clients with hands-on, Strategic PR Counsel, Media and Analyst Relations and Social Media Services. Technology PR has successfully managed PR and AR for more than 60 tech and web clients ranging from startups to divisions of Fortune 500 companies, many of whom are repeat customers.
Most clients have hired Technology PR to replace underperforming PR agencies or in-house PR personnel as Alison maintains current relationships with and a keen understanding of national business and technology press and analyst interests that are leveraged on behalf of all clients. In recent years, Alison has enhanced the value of each client program with the right mix of social media to enhance the client's thought leadership and visibility among key press and analysts who now participate in niche industry conversation on certain social networks.
Alison is the direct liason between the client and key influencers, personally managing all media and analyst outreach and overseeing social media program implementation for a small group of clients in order to ensure maximum client visibility and ROI.

Prior to launching Technology PR in 1995, Alison held Vice President and Managing Supervisor, Technology Accounts positions at Fleishman Hillard and Ruder Finn, respectively - two of the world's largest and highest billing PR conglomerates for whom Alison still consults. Prior to working in PR, Alison was a broadcast news journalist on cable stations in Eatontown, NJ and Newark DE after receiving a BA in Marketing and Communications from the University of Delaware.
